I currently have a Kubota L3710 with cab. EXCELLENT machine. Found out too late (after I bought back hoe) that I can't mount a 3pt back hoe due to cab hitting the seat of the hoe.

Everything is for sale and I hope to recoup most of my screw-up.

While driving by the JD dealer today I saw it!!!!!! A 110 TLB. WHAT A MACHINE. The size is near the size of my Kubota---slightly larger, I'm thinking utility as opposed to large compact.

But the sheer massiveness of the hoe, bucket, frame etc. It looks like JD took a 410 4x4 and shrunk it to 1/2 size.

It does use a Yanmar 4 cylinder and the dealer claims Yanmar has been stellar.

The base $$$ is 43K and this rig had 4K in options. Dealer said I could have it for 43........it has 8 hours.

I will miss the A/C and cab but............Man, what a rig!!

Off to the craps table..........wish me luck!!

Don't get me wrong I love Deere equipment, but have you also looked at the Kubota TLBs? I know that each has their strengths...

Kubota has one too!!! I am such a newbie to this tractor scene. The size and capability are what I think I wanted all along.

Thanks for the heads up.

So, when is delivery? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The Kubota models are B21, L35 (now discontinued), L39 (replaced the L35), and L48.

Yep, I fell in love with the 110 also. My local green Dealer would not service yellow Deere. Then I compared the setup I have now with yellow and it just made more sense ($) for me to go orange. But my first love will always be the 110. Are you getting extra remotes for TnT, a thumb, and stabilizer guards?

MIKE, Mike, mike, WHAT, What, what??? Are you telling someone to look at a Kuboski? OK, nevermind, inside joke. The JD 110 made Kubota get off its duff and build something in the ballpark. It would appear that the L39 while smaller may be semi similar in that it does use a "standard" transmission with it's GST. In other words, it has less HP but can put it to a little better use (I know, blasphemous to us HST folks) If I was in the market for a TLB, which I am not, I think the JD 110 and L39 would be competitive comparisons even though the JD 110 is a bit larger. The huge advantage the JD 110 has over its green counterparts is a black seat, none of this chicken yellow stuff! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have a 110 tlb, and I have all the options and most of the buckets. I have a friend with an l39, and I have done some demoing with the intent of trade, the L39 is better bilt, but the features like the creep to postion on the 110 and the hydro allow it to work circles around the L39. Also, it seems like a bit of a rigamoroll to get a thumb on the 39, and my 110 has it. Another consideration is the smaller tires of the L39. Both units are considerably heavier than a tractor, bigger tires give a little more floatation. I determinined that I could not give up speed of operation for tighter build quality.

That friend wouldn't be Jim Morrisey would it? I had a L48 and found the HST to do wonders with loader work, more then one might expect. JD did a fine job on the 110.

You can get a backhoe for your 3710 from Woods. They have a 4 pt mount that will fit.

We sell the L48 for $7000 less than that 110 your looking at, and the L39 almost a full $11,000 less! Seems there are probably some more competitive prices out there if you shop around.

Trying to unload the 3710 and Bradco without taking too bad of a hit.

Thanks for the link. The JD is quite a bit heavier but actual working specs are very similar. I do like both machines reputations........in person that JD looks sooooo beefy. I really would like to see the Kubota.
