Jerry, if you need to roll that rock onto something like plywood to use as a skid, you can use the lever method I've shown in the attached illustration. By wrapping a chain around the rock as shown and pulling in the direction of the arrow, the block provides additional leverage to roll the rock. The bigger the block, the more leverage you have. ...just another idea.

Re: I need a bigger \'you know what\'

Here is a picture of a slightly stronger carryall. If you reinforce your existing carryall as Gary_In_Indiana suggested and put tabs on in the nature of this one for the cat1 pins, it should carry most anything your tractor will lift. I know I've had my little Yanmar so loaded that I had to drive it with the brakes. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: I need a bigger \'you know what\'

JIm, thanks for the idea. I'm sure it will work.

Jeff, my local tractor yard has those in stock. It did'nt look much heavier to me. Does the round tubing add the extra strength?

Re: I need a bigger \'you know what\'

Jerry, sorry that your carryall didn't carry all /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. However, numerous members have suggested good solutions. Buy a bigger tractor (always a good idea), have the contractor move it, beef up your current carryall, etc.

On the other hand, I too considered purchasing a carryall a few months ago and just wasn't happy with what was available. So, I purchased some 2X4X1/4" tubing and built my own. It's overkill for my BX2200, but I seem to always error on the side of "more is better"...in other words, if angle iron is good then 2X4 Rectangular tubing would be more better /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here is a link to a web page with numerous projects I've tackled. Might give you some ideas.
