And I did. Finally got them done today. Weather was a nice 45F. Rain and snow tonight. I started on them last week but snow and coldness drove me inside. I used 4"x2" x 3/16" rectangle tubing. I used the same "locking" system as for the tow hooks I installed earlier. I can slide the forks anywhere along the rail. The reinforced sides are 3/8" gussets. I also wanted them to remain locked on the bottom, so I made some 1/2" jack bolts. The color is not right ( have to get some K-Orange ) but it works to keep them from rusting for now. Hope you like them - I do:thumbsup:

About 40 pounds each I suppose. I can easily unhook them and carry them off. I made them 40" long

Nice! So with the bucket weight that leaves you with a 200-250 lb. lift! About half the loader lift, more or less.

I got all the steel at a local vendor here in Ironton. The 4x2 tubing was $9.00 a foot. I got two pieces 64" long each. That and the 3/8" gussets, and caps came to @$130 bucks.

Lots of welding using 1/8" - 6010 rod in the cold.
