That is all my DK has..range shifter in Neutral, and it will fire right up. No seat switch, no clutch switch.. cause it doesnt have a clutch. Really handy when you need to raise up out of the seat to see the front of the forks better as they enter a pallet. If you fell out of the seat a brush hog would grind you up... So don't fall out of the seat... It would be pretty hard to do with the high back seat... but I suppose anything is possible. It won't start with the PTO engaged though.
My Kubota has an alarm that is an obnoxious high pitched whine if I leave the seat with the PTO engaged. 99% of the time my PTO attachment is a brush cutter so it's obvious if the PTO is on. But I understand that alarm. It doesn't shut the tractor off or disengage the PTO, just warns you that you've left the operator area with it still engaged. That's cool.
