I Still Hate My Tractor II

That is all my DK has..range shifter in Neutral, and it will fire right up. No seat switch, no clutch switch.. cause it doesnt have a clutch:). Really handy when you need to raise up out of the seat to see the front of the forks better as they enter a pallet. If you fell out of the seat a brush hog would grind you up... So don't fall out of the seat... It would be pretty hard to do with the high back seat... but I suppose anything is possible. It won't start with the PTO engaged though.

My Kubota has an alarm that is an obnoxious high pitched whine if I leave the seat with the PTO engaged. 99% of the time my PTO attachment is a brush cutter so it's obvious if the PTO is on. But I understand that alarm. It doesn't shut the tractor off or disengage the PTO, just warns you that you've left the operator area with it still engaged. That's cool.

Mrs . Fred loves it.♡

Maybe, but he can't eat peanut butter!

Yes, people with oversized large hairy tongues cannot eat peanut butter or say she sells sea shells etc. It's a known fact.
That is why Fred resorts to turbos and beer. Keeps him out of trouble. Poor guy, Mrs Fred must like him out in the garage.
We should organize a fund, shave (save) the tongue!
I'll accept all the Paypal payments on behalf of Fred.

Does anyone else think it's slightly odd that a guy who can add a turbo, with all the machining involved, can't change a spring to a lighter one? Just saying, Kubota puts it in a location and a heavy spring to avoid people stepping on it while on pavement and breaking something. You can do a search for a thread about swapping the diff lock spring out and even part numbers for different weight springs.
