Yes the extension is 35mm ID and 1/8" wall, hoping it takes the heat. I will build more support in later. While the turbo looks heavy it is lighter than the original muffler it replaced that had zero support other than the manifold. I truly wanted the turbo to bolt directly to the exhaust manifold but then the oil drain would have to go down to the oil pan. Remember I didn't want to hack the pan and couldn't uncover the factory oil drain for this block which I believe is the dipstick tube access (although covered by the tractor frame rail). Turbo flange is different bolt pattern than the exhaust manifold also. I suspect the Bobcat manifold is a spendy unit. Another problem I encountered is the fuel tank shield, I couldn't sneak the turbo in under it without modifying it, also the reason I went with a pedestal mount. My air intake pipe is mounted very rigidly and the short intake connector will act as more support and hopefully vibration protection.
I used the valve cover for the drain, it is a very short run and the VW TDI turbo drain hose I hacked up (used part I had) looks like it will work ok, red hose is Gates multi-use hose. I use it for transmission line and fuel line in some applications. It should take the heat and petroleum product hopefully. This turbo should pass a small oil amount compared to a larger unit. Not too worried about the heat in the valve cover or oil drain there is plenty of windage space for the oil drain, also a nicely engineered baffle under the valve cover.

Fred, back on this today hoping to get a test run out of it with a temporary straight pipe until I find a nicely built short and 304 stainless glasspack so I can fab a sweet little quiet exhaust package. While I liked much noise in my younger days quiet is much nicer nowadays. Every now and again at work a Harley will drive by with bone stock pipes and sounds oh so sweet, usually driven by women.
