You don't think the weather has changed in the last 30 years?

My BIL is a hard core snowsledder who scoffs at the notion that climate might be changing. Yet in the next breathe he'll complain that winters aren't the way they used to be... "We used to start riding in November or December and go into April. "Now we can't ride until January if we're lucky, and the season ends by the middle of March."

But the weather hasn't changed in the last 30 years...

Exactly. That's why I've never understood why people deny that weather/climate is changing. Besides, the planet can take care of itself; it's been doing it since long before we came along. We might not like how it does that...

I do believe that the dinosaur era ended much more abruptly though.

I've been told that I'm older than the hills but I don't remember that era.

Better get another garage freezer and stock up on canning jars and lids now. Last year it was hard to find jars and lids late summer.

Yep. Lid shortage went back more than a year ago. I almost didn’t have enough lids for maple syrup Feb 2021. Good on jars and lids now.

The other thing I've been noticing lately is that you can buy a silicon version of the rings for the old style bail mason jars, which went out of style years ago.

I need to plant my corn and green beans. Keep putting that off. Normally have it in by April 15. I did plant my greens and onions. They are doing good but have to keep watering them.

I also found some largemouth lids the other day and stocked up.
