There's an interesting story behind this song; seems Toby Keith and Clint Eastwood were playing golf, and Clint's age (85 or so) came up. Clint said the way he handled it was he just didn't let the old man in. Toby thought this over, and wrote this song...and Clint used it as the closing song for his movie "The Mule".

It's a great song. Clint is a great man. I live by that line. I'm 45. Used to say 43 but I upped a little this past year.....

Best I can tell........"how old I think I am" and "how old my body tells me I am" ...are two different answers. But, Clint Eastwood had it right...."a man has to know his limitations".
