Yes, I have considered the L3400 HST, but the problem is you start losing the advantages of being compact. For those that don't use all there power bring her over to my house and I'll show you how to bog her down.
So far traction has not been a problem, with 4 wheel drive I usually run out of power before I lose traction and I can add weight if needed. I want as much power as I can get in a compact machine. Yes, I also laugh when I see 26HP lawn mowers. These are generally 26 HP motors on 10HP quality machines.
Don't get me wrong, pound for pound Kubota builds an incredible machine. Trust me I have used every pony on my B2920. Recently, I mowed a 3 acre field with weeds up to the headlights and my 60" KK tiller is all she can handle.
The only thing I want more then a B3500 is a B4000. Keep the power coming and the size down. I'll add weight where and when I need it.
