Identify this planter

Not sure what model it is. Everything moves freely and operates as it should. Structurally sound, only surface rust. So what model is it and what is it worth?

It's a 290 planter. Price is whatever a person will pay for it. Maybe $100 in that condition.

If it was in Va I would pay more than that for it if I had to and had a use for it. Would think $500 would be good, folks snap them up to plant food plots for deer and it drives the price up.

Now that guys are cutting down four row 1240 and 7000 planters to two row machines these older units seem to be losing their popularity. Hard to compete with finger pickup, disk openers, or even plastic boxes.

It would be nice if the market stays strong though. I have two, one completely redone, and a nice original. They have every option you could get on a 290 including, disk openers and fertilizer attachments.
