If the lift arm doesn't move but it still curls and if you can move it, then you know the TICS safety switch is not the problem. Can you push down with the lift arm? There is a port relief for the lift cylinder and the control valve. The pressure will have to be tested.

Sorry folks. Seems it only needed a rest. We just restarted it and all systems are go. Thanks so much, you are hero’s

I would not think its a solenoid bad because you would only loose up or down, do you hear anything from the hydraulics or notice if oil is going to the lift cylinder, last time I had something similar the piston seal was bad and oil was going past the piston, in this case there are signs like sluggish operation and will not stay up or hold a position.

Thanks, I’ll look into that.

What would cause hydraulic oil to leak from the front transaxle oil breather when the machine is driven? Thanks in advance.

I would just check the oil level and make sure it is good. Should not be anything to pressurize axle to make blow out. If it is not low on oil, I would just watch it. I assume it is only leaking a tiny amount?

Maybe the drive motor is leaking into the transaxle and over filling it? Check the level. If it is way overfilled, that would be my guess at this point.

That was what I was thinking. The transaxle was over full, and the hydraulic reservoir was low.

Anyone with a similar experience know which seals/O-rings typically fail in this situation?

Clean the area!

There is just a o-ring that seals the drive motor to the transaxle. The drive motor has a oil seal on the shaft and I think that would be the only thing that could be causing the problem. In the manual, you remove the drive motor, disassemble, remove shaft, remove snap ring, replace seal. Depending on how much room you have, I'm wondering if a person could get the motor out, remove the snap ring, and carefully get the seal pulled/replaced without taking the motor apart. Sometimes a person can use a seal puller to do this. To me, it looks like the hard part is getting the hoses removed and getting the motor out on to a bench.

If the motor is taken apart, there are adjustments that must be done carefully per manual. It must be CLEAN and done right.

The seal PN is 7015994....the old number was 6691454

Why was the number changed? Hmmm?

It looks like the o-ring number is 25K30400
