If you haven't seen the "NEW" gas cans, they have out done themselves!

I picked up one of the EZ spout kits for one of my old cans and I agree that they work very well. But if you don't have an old can to put it on, it's a shame to have to spend $12-$15 on a new can plus another $10 for a spout.

I like using one of the 'jiggler' self priming siphons. On my B7100 I can set the can up on the seat get the siphon going and then just hang out for a minute or two until the tank is full. Taking the spout off and using a funnel is also a quick solution.

I bought 3 for $130 and they will last a LONG time.

But you have to get them on sale.

I broke down about 3 years ago, after my first experience with the new designs..

Here's the easy fix to make the new can just like the old cans . You can buy the spout kits at tractor supply .

For me........this was the cure for sure....One can go directly to the outfit at:

The Official Site for EZ-POURョ Universal Gas & Water Can Spout | UNIVERSAL GAS SPOUT EZ-POUR

They are truly worth having and buying.......God bless......Dennis

Just wondering as the add says "fix you _old_ cans. Do they really fit the new cans? The new and the old ones have two different thread sizes.

The Obama team has the EPA and IRS at its beck and call. The obvious solution is to outlaw all of scumbags who put fuel in there own equipment. Force them to take it to Union and EPA approved location to fill there tank. Its pretty simple if they do there own work they probably cheat on there taxes. Next will be a registration system to buy a gas or diesel 5 gallon can so you can be looked at by appropriate multiple government agencies.
IMO

Of course this system would need to charge some fees. These scumbags should have to pay for this privilege. We can't just have people doing whatever they want.

It wouldnt be bad but these people making decisions have no clue.. They are just making busy work to keep their jobs.

I tell you, I'm about so fed up with the EPA I'm about ready to make myself a terrible nuisance in my Senators and Congresswoman's office to chop the EPA and their useless and damaging regulations by 90% or else.

EZ pour spouts at the local TSC. $9. They work well with the Spectra 5-gallon plastic jugs. Actually even better. I like the tight screw on cap on the end of the spout better than the snap-on cap. The wavy neck prevents the fuel from spilling out too fast when starting, then a full tilt into the fill neck of the tractor makes the gas jug flow faster. So, in rality, all that was needed really was the wavy neck spout to control the spills with a full jug. Not that weird spout that sends a trickle.
