I've got a heap o' funnels too, Dan, but sometimes I have to use a spout. I use it both ways. Whew, who'd have ever thought a gas can would be so difficult!?! EPA I reckon.

These No Spill containers work great.

I like these too. I bought a one for diesel and another for gas. Of all the new designs they are the easiest to use in my opinion, but not cheap! They are high quality and made in the USA.

A nice feature of the No-Spill cans is they stop the flow automatically when the tank is full. There is a dead-man vent valve that you must hold open, but it works well.

I checked that ... Wha' was it with the photo? SomethingRite. Anyway, I like it! I think that'll be my next gas can, even if it is about $58 where I saw it. I just like steel cans better.

Justrite is the company, they make all sorts of fuel cans and oily rag containers, etc. We have them all over at work. The metal fuel cans are the only ones we are allowed to use at work, company policy, no plastic containers for fuels, metal only.

The Brits were so impressed with the German gas cans of WW2, they adopted them as their own and called them 'Gerry Cans'.
Here it is some 70+ years later, and they remain the best fuel container made !
YET, someone somewhere has to re-invent this 'mousetrap' in response to incidents of improper handling of a volatile substance.
And without attempting to steal this thread - the same stupidity applies to those Tire Pressure Monitor devices in new cars !
If it ain't broke - don't fix it...:D

Good one. Funny. And how the heck do you buy a pair .... errrr... triplet of gloves?

Buy 3 pair, then you have two sets.

Fortunately, I've picked up several of the tapered Rubbermaid gas cans over the years, along with some replacement spouts: Rubbermaid Gas Can.jpg

My two Diesel cans are vented, but had a small vent hole until I drilled them out & installed stubby valve stems with the core out.

I loosen the vent caps when in storage to prevent swelling/shrinking. ~~ grnspot

Gloves are for pu**ies...I personally think that the occasional festering sore builds up immunity!:)

Only if he can rotate the thumb on his third arm to the opposite side. Or wear the glove backwards on the one set.

Now to think of it, was he born with two left hands?
