yep.. they all got their issues. even the U channel ones. they can get tight when rusted.

Thanks. The pics really dont to them justice. The shadowing/glare makes it look like there are lines where the weld stopped. Not really a good pic. I'll have to get some more, now that I have got a coat of primer on them...
Any of them have to be better than spending a day to get apart. Tube in tube with tight fit just sucks.
I like the style that is two heavy pieces of steel bolted together. The 2040 dad had as well as the 8n are like that. :thumbsup:

Still needs a few little things that I just haven't got around to. I bought it when I was laid off with plans to restore and attempt to sell and if not use it for a bushhog tractor.
Well I went back to work, daughter was born, winter hit and lots of plowing, as well as reworking a plow. So it went to the back burner.
I still need to do something with the seat, needs a battery, and I need to do something with the hitch. It has the IH fast hitch, which I did not put back on. and will make a 3PH for it. Just got too many things to do and not enough time.
