Illegal to buy gas?

Suzy, Do they use kerosene to cut the diesel fuel there? They do not sell Diesel #1 here. I was curious what they do for the cold service fuel there? I know here you cannot fuel your truck from a kerosene dispenser {directly}, because of fuel tax fines? Not sure with the new fuels?

When my wife has to buy Gas she either uses a full service facility or stands there looking back and forth from the pump to the car until the attendant takes pity on her and pumps it tor her.
My wife is still in the hospital, we almost lost her. How did you do with that well? Sorry I could not help more.

Dennis, Hows your wife? I have yet to break the hard out of the well bottom.

Yup... my wife is related to yours... cousin maybe - extended family. Just last week she left the truck hard empty, wasn't sure if I could make it to town. I did it once to her to prove a point - she actually ran out of gas - never heard the end of it. I ran out once within 50' of my driveway... can never figure out why they do that. Told her the "emergency" scenario - still hasn't caught on... go figure.

Well my wife finally had to put gas in ... she came in mad as a wet hen!!

"Took $87 to fill it up ... make sure you transfer that back into my account"

I replied ... "did you pick up them parts" !!!!

I'm debating to run my Dually close to the empty mark ... send her to the feed store ... then call her and say "When you put fuel in my truck make sure it's diesel and not gas"

I was tempted to send my wife to work one day with my f450, i'm in the process of trying to run all my summer fuel out of it before refueling... so it's starting to get low...

it has a 50g aux tank in t he bed, plus the truck tank.. when it's ready.. that will be a 2-swiper I think on the credit card. just have to figure out how I can time it to be when she needs something to drive.

( Won't happen.. she won't drive a dually... )

A 2-swiper would surely light my wifes fuse ... now she loves my dually and prefers driving it ... she calls it the "mans truck"

And I call her 1500 ... "The grocery getter"

Jonyuma, around these cold parts, there is summer diesel, winter diesel and arctic diesel. Now hopefully it is winter diesel time as my son came up to house sit for me while I was away and filled up my tractor with whatever diesel was at the cardlock at the time. Hopefully it was winter diesel, as I have two more jugs full of it as well. He also brought some conditioner, so we dumped some of that in too. I guess the main thing is to keep the tank full so water doesn't condense into the fuel and add conditioner if necessary. I don't know if the 'conditioner' is kerosene.

I have farm status so can run off road fuel in my truck as well as tractor. My truck is gas so don't have to worry about the seasonality of its fuel!

Its Sunday morning, and this thread has inspired me to go out and get gas in my wifes car. It was low on Friday, so I'm sure its bone dry now.

I'm in the camp that I nned to keep up on the maintenance, and can't see her stuck on the side of the road. No less frustrating though.
