1*They already do that here .Kaliburz said:.
1*Now if they are truly care about the environment AND ag business in the USA, they would sell 'heating oil' that is exactly the same as low sulfur off road diesel AND charge the same price as heating oil. (I can dream can't I....)
2*Here, to my knowledge, is not illegal to use 'heating oil' in an off road diesel engine.
3*I have not checked to see if there is a price difference, but here, the last I checked, off road was heating oil.
4*(I don't even want to think how much fuel will be in the fall..... and that stuff will be the road diesel for the semi's....)
We only have 1 fuel. It's all the same stuff no mater where you get it what you use it in or where you use it.
I just got 30 gallon at my supplier / it's the same stuff I'd get at a truck stop or service station.
The only difference is I paid $118.77 instead of $127.77 at the truck stop.
2*It shouldn't be since they're both the same.
3*So is on road since diesel and fuel oil are the same thing.
4*In many if not most places it's already that way.
Makes sense to me cause we only need 1 fuel as it all works the same for engines furnaces and heaters.
