I'm Confused - Joystick, Switch or ???

Sorry to run off. Went next door for dinner.
I thought all loaders had a power beyond circuit. If you have 3 hoses going to the loader from the tractor you have PB.

The loader valve on JD CUT's are not external like you are thinking, they are built onto the transmission and have no hoses going to it. The power beyond is plumbed completely different that other manufacturers do it. And, as already stated, is not available with the cab model.

Oh, I see. If you have a high pressure port and a tank port on the tranny housing you can plumb the 3rd function into those. I guess it all boils down to how bad you want simultaneous motion on all three circuits.

I'm glad I used the W.R. Long third function kit for the grapple. I puts a three position switch on the joystick allowing open - nuetral -close without interupting the flow of loader movement.

The switch couldn't be more convenient mounting as part of the head on the inside for easy thumb operation.

It also allows the grapple to be stopped at any position between open and closed - stopped under pressure so it won't let go.

Another thing about using a third function type setup is that the loader hoses don't need to accessed out on the loader arm(s) as it appears many of the diverter type setups do. This allows mounting the solenoid valve in a way that both protects it and hides it.

My valve is behind the plate added under the loader valve mount:
