16 pages later, have you drilled that darn hole yet???? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I think that the beer is getting stale in your hands and you need to put them down, start drilling and then using one of those test dummies, do a roll over of the tractor and see if the ROPS holds up to the stress. I'm sorry if I repeat what has already been said, I'm only on page 8, but whether you drill, weld, glue, staple, rubber band, magnet, or what ever lights to the roll bar, not only are we damaging or ROPS but we are making our tractor easier to roll over due to the added weight so high above the ground!!!!!!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif If it makes you feel any better, I drilled and tapped two 3/8" NC holes in my roll bar.

Maybe not a rubber band, but perhaps a rubber band ball might affect the center of gravity. Especially if it's... made of over 550,000 rubber bands costing almost $12,000....

Actually, if you could attach that to the back of a cut, you wouldn't need a ROPS. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

By adding a few lights? Admittedly, top hamper raises the center of mass, theoretically making it easier to roll. But we're not talking about adding a tripod mast and flying bridge up there.

Tiny changes generally have tiny effects. If you're worried about the additional top hamper from adding a couple of lights, then you'd better empty the change out of your pockets, not wear a hat, and get a crew cut. Depending on exactly where your COM is, you might want to weat heavy boots. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
