Jim, I see you've got a Jubilee. Neat tractor. I considered one of those before I went with the problematic one I've got.
Good news though. I used it all day today without a hydraulic problem. The only issue I have is a broken T fitting on the injector line. Simple fix. I'm happy. We got a good bit done today and the little tractor worked like a champ; untill the fuel started leaking.
I'm curious though Jim. How does removing shims increase the pressure on your tracor? On mine it puts less tension on the spring which allows the valve to come unseated at a lower pressure. I don't have pressure gauges at home, but I'm betting the guys at work have some in the range I need. I'll see if I can borrow them and report back the pressures I'm getting. Nothing like reporting these things for the next poor guy who is pulling his hair out.
