hello. I just bought my first CUT, a 2210, a few weeks ago. Got the Imatch, ballast, belly mower, FEL and rear scraper blade. The Imatch works fine for me. It's a little un-nerving at first, getting the speed of its up/down motion adjusted with the knob that is under the seat. What I don't like, at all, is that you can't operate the belly mower (up/down) independent of the up/down action of the Imatch. (at least, I have not been able to figure out how to do this.....maybe someone else knows the answer).

After reading many posts on this forum, I decided to add the iMatch to my 4310 purchase. Looking back on it, that was perhaps the best decision I made.

Like many others have said, hooking up attachments is made so simple. I have a big steel bar that I used for aligning attachements before the iMatch and now the bar doesn't get used.

This is one attachment I couldn't live without. I looked at third party look alikes and they were only a few dollars cheaper. I decided to get it in green from my dealer since they treated me pretty well.

Seems I recall that one of the forum members designed and fabricated an hydraulic cylinder that would lift the belly mower on the 2210, which made it independent of the 3pt. That is likely an answer for you. Maybe someone else recalls also, and we can find that post or thread.

My sentiments exactly.
Now, after I shove the dish washer back under the counter and hook it up, I am going out to bring in another pallet of firewood. All I have to do is drive the Deere 4300 out, drop the ballast from the imatch, back up to the pallet forks, lift them up, and latch the imatch. Then back up to lift a pallet of dried oak firewood and back it into the garage, drop it, and return to drop the pallet forks, and then pick up the ballast and park the tractor in the shed. It's usually about a 5 minute job.
It's about 30° now, and that is too little time for some tractor fun. But when it's -20° and 20mph wind, taking only 5 minutes is about right for seat time /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK, I just went over to my John Deere dealer to find out about the Imatch Quick Hitch (my wife gave permission /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif). The price has gone up to $232.00 and may include one bushing kit. The Land Pride with the adjustable upper link was $360.00. The Land Pride was clearly heavier too.

The last time I was down at a TSC (3 hours away) they had none and I am really curious what prices you guys are seeing. If TSC really has them for $200.00 it might be worth the wait until I make the trip to CT again. Who has been quoted for a Deere I-Match?

JD-man;

There's a new TSC in Bennington with Quick Hitch's on the shelf for $197. I bet it's still a 2 1/2 hour drive for you. I have a JD iMatch on order for $200, but it was also part of a package deal with a box blade. I'm guessing he cut me a little slack on $$.

I like poking around TSC but what is it with them? Anything with paint; quick hitch's, box blades, tillers...look like they were dragged down the interstate behind the 18 wheeler rather than riding inside. Man, their stuff is beat up!

I paid $180 for my imatch. Probably different prices (they are not fixed, believe me) from different dealers depending on the rapport with the dealer, availability, etc. Sometimes we have to pay shipping, and sometimes it comes ordered with another tractor, etc.

$200 is in the ballpark. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

JD_Man,

If you haven't bought and I-Match yet, you might give Jeff a call at Twin City Equip. (Barre/Montpelier Rd.). If I remember correctly, he sold me my I-Match for $180. However, I bought a rear blade and snowblower at the same time. So, he probably cut me some slack, the prices have gone up, and mine is the older 2-clamp handle model.

One thing I have not seen mentioned as a benefit of having the I-Match is that when I do have to take off all the TPH arms, pins, etc., to attatch the BH, I can remove it all as a unit with everything still attached to the I-Match. At worst, I've had to take a little tension out of 1 turn-buckle. Beats the heck out of taking all the pieces parts apart, then having to re-attatch and re-adjust everything when I drop the BH to change back to a TPH implement! Also, keeps all the parts together!

P.S.(TSC in Bennington??? May have to go for a drive as soon as Mud Season is over /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I am going to give Twin City a jingle today.

I discovered that Northern Tool has the adjustable center hook unit, like the Land Pride. I don't know how useful that is but it is $219.99 and $46.00 shipping. That is $100.00 cheaper than the Land Pride. A trip to Bennington would be a hard one in the spring (those roads would be rough). I guess I will get to the Tractor Supply Store down in CT sometime this month. I did not see one there last time but if it was outside, it was buried under snow. They did nothing to clear anything off. Does anyone know if the one at Tractor Supply Company has the adjustable center hook or is it like the John Deere.

Too many options and not enough places to visit.
