The Kubota FEL on a
M5040 has a skid steer type attachment. You may be able to rent a skidsteer grapple bucket from a local place that rents skidsteers and their attachments. With some skidsteer attachments a tractor won't have enough hydraulic flow to run them, but I don't think that would be an issue with a grapple. You will of course need a third function valve to run a grapple - I think the
M5040 comes standard with one rear remote and that would work, as long as you can get hoses that are long enough to run from it to the grapple.
You could also just rent a skidsteer with a grapple, though of course that would cost a bit more.
