I normally keep my vehicles outside, and my toys inside (like the Polaris Ranger). As for the ASV, I'm thinking it might be just as well to store it outside as it is completely enclosed. Has anyone had any problems attributable to storing their skid steer or attachments outside?

Rust, faded paint and decreased value. Inside storage is the way to go. Throw a plastic tarp over the equipment and bring the trucks inside since they're impractial to tarp.

I've actually wondered what kind of damage the sun can do to the rubber tracks on a machine like the ASVs?

Note to self: Add $3k in materials to expand the storage barn.

jmfox,

Just curious and maybe I missed it in an earlier thread, but why'd you choose the 80 over the RC100? Am I correct in thinking that you're going to be using a mulching head?

I also want the SR80 or the RC100..Once I get the Cat 257 HF back.New Engine install..Now they say next week:mad: I am leaning toward the SR80 due to the fact My BRAND NEW Timber Ax will run on the 80...May have to turn it down a notch w/Flow conroller....I have the Number 5 motor. If I go RC100 need new head altogether-my setup wont work according to loftness rep.

Very curious as to how the 80 runs especially with a mulching head please keep us posted.:)

Ballpark what does the Sr80 cost with cab/ac/brush package?

PS- no problems storing outside for me over 1 year thus far aside from attachments paint fade/minor musty cab smell..

I am considering a mulching head or just tearing out and burning. A lot of the trees are white pine and they can be sold. I chose the SR80 because of the 12mph speed, which will be handy moving dirt on a large site.

Gamma hope you dont mind me repling here, I wanted the 100 at first but didnt want a swing out door. The 80/ SR's have slide up doors, not as smooth as swing out but...Having to have boom down to get out would drive me crazy. And supposedly /hopefully the track system on the SR Series is improved over the RC Series. Hopefully the tipping load and 80 horses is enough not to mention the torque you give up. The 100 has over 300. I think, incredible.
