I seeded Bermuda grass seed today on the new dam portion. I gave the dam a good workout with the drag harrow before and after seeding. I also installed 8 cinder blocks in the shallow end for Fathead Minnow hotels. I still need to raise the old portion of the dam and it's bulkhead. The bulkhead protects the Oak tree's roots. I have one huge clay pile to move. I'll do that after raising the bulkhead 6 inches.
