The two main ways to get moisture in a crawl space are from the vents and from the soil. Sealing the crawl space as a previous poster did is a good idea. A crawl space is cooler than the outside air temperature during the summer. And given that summer air usually has high humidity. What happens with moist air comes in contact with cold surfaces?
