Interesting screwup

Sounds like engineering made a change on the weld pattern and got production to impliment the change before all the bureaucratic paper work got done. Happens all the time. Makes it hard for the QA guys and they go wild because the part doesnt match the print. Been there.

I seem to remember something about "HST fan" and "50 sudden stop in reverse" problems, are they fixed?

HST fan access actually got worse on the BX24, don't know about the BX25, but I think they put a little guard plate in to help prevent damage.

The sudden stops in reverse thing has reportedly eased up in recent BX models but, the sudden stop was a "fix" for earlier HST pedal returns, which could be slow motion terror.

Kubota tries what they can. Sometimes it's great, sometimes, meh...

It was a test and you failed. No real man reads instructions. They are, at best only packed with parts or equipment to help start fires. And then you failed the second test. If nuts will not thread onto bolts then you are not using big enough tools or enough muscle. If you don't have big enough tools you just go out and buy them. Sounds like a nice 1" impact wrench and sockets are needed for this job. Maybe even a 175 psi air compressor.
