Massey Ferguson GC1725M Bolens TX 1504 (G154) 1957 John Deere 420C crawler
I have a Bolens G154/ISEKI TX1300F that all of the sudden kept going forward when I depressed the clutch while I'm using my brushhog (internal over running clutch messed up?). It's never done this before. Is there an adjustment that needs to be tinkered with to make it work again?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it stopped working like it should after I depressed the clutch pedal while pushing myself off the ground after clearing some branches from under the tractor.

Have no idea but it sounds like your idea might be close.

Parkland ?, I could probably throw a rock and hit you.

Worst case I suppose you could always add a new external OR clutch onto your PTO shaft? That would at least allow you to use the tractor in a safe manner while you are trying to figure out what to do. But then, you might need to shorten the PTO shaft just a bit to make room for it.

I'm at the end of 128th. Turn right instead of left to go to Pac Ave.

Remember, if I'm in range, so are you! :-D

I was thinking the same; Getting an external over-run clutch and using that until I can figure out what is going on and repair it.

G'day i have just been inside a 3210 for the pto not working and found the overrun clutch no good, pulled it to bits, machined up a sleeve and welded it up as the owner did not want to spend approx $1200 aus for a new unit and cannot buy bits to go into it, fitted and external o/run clutch and all is good. Don't know if this is the same as your unit but i hope it helps.

does the main clutch engage and disengage like normal?

I've heard of some other units that had orc's die in them.

Many thanks Jon! That gives me an idea of what I'm facing.

Yes it does. Engages and disengages like normal, but "feels" a bit mushy compared to before the PTO acting up.
