YouTube - Mahindra stalks top tractor sales spot

You hear a lot about where Mahindra is in sales and what their long term objectives are. This video seems to confirm at least the intent of Mahindra to become the worlds leading tractor supplier. This video has the president claiming that Mahindra reached the number 3 spot last year. This is comforting news because it leads me to believe that Mahindra is at least going to be around for the long haul and not be a part of the major shakeout of tractor manufacturers I believe is coming.

Hey Papasmith, I saw that same video clip and I had to wonder when he talked about acquiring other companies in China where that was really leading to. Mahinda is a great product and all but I worry when they start acquiring other brands like the ones in China. Will this quest for the number 1 spot spread the company to thin by growing so fast in a short period of time? I'm probably jumping way ahead here but I think their tractors are a great product and I'd hate to see something like that (well made, reasonable price) screwed up.

It's an old video that has been posted before. They have lofty goals, that is for sure.
