hi-im olaf and i need help with my 1977 Yanmar with TR22-04705 engine. the lower radiator hose is busted and nobody seems to be able to find a replacement hose. 5 different sellers on amazon/ebay - no matching hoses. even the local yanmar dealer doesnt list my engine. anyone kow how to find this seeminly simple part?

You can also do it the old big truck way, get metal pipe to make the bends and most of the distance with just straight hoses as coupling the pipe to the engine and radiator.
I've had exhaust shops make the bends for me.

You have a gray market Yanmar. So those parts will not be listed nor offered by Yanmar.
The YTOG has the parts suppliers off of the WIKI > Resource Page for your machine. And we have all the manuals for FREE as wll.
hi Bmverick - understand its grey market but wouldn't all the parts from a YM240 work?

About 90% of the parts are swapable.
Now, there are rather some differences of the YM2000 Tree Frog green machines, the YM2000 Red Apple machines, the later YM2000A machines and the YM2000A-A machines.
It is too hard to tell what YM2000 Red Apple machine you might have. You can tell by the engine plate ID or the decal on the right side inner fender if it was not removed.
The true YM2000 is the only match to the YM240. The others have about 50% match up.
Most Gray Market refurb dealers only place the YM2000 decals on and call it a day. Thus, nobody really knows if they have a true match to a YM240.
On the YTOG, we have several YM2000x parts manuals that go into all of this. Those manuals can help a person determine what they actually have.
