Don, I don't post much in the welding forum because quite frankly what I do for welding is just "to farmer something up", if I can use that expression without insulting anyone.

Just wanted to say that when I read posts from someone whose enthusiasm and commitment to their work is as evident as yours, no matter what they're doing, you can't help but wish them the best and respect their determination.

One of the things I enjoy most is your obvious desire to learn more, my dad used to say the hardest thing about doing anything, no matter what it is, is getting past the fear of not knowing exactly what to do and having the humility to learn (that and a swift kick in the butt usually went a long way :thumbsup:). A good philosophy and one that has seen me through some pretty tough times.

Keep up the great work Don, your craft is one that most of us would love to be able to master, and for those of us who will likely never be able to, there are people like you.

Cheers,

Mike

Saying I have to much time on my hands is just not the way it is. It's actually the opposite.
If ya wanna get something done, give it to a busy man ..... ;) :D

Mike not sure if you meant me "Paul" or "Don" but either way It's a very nice comment you made. Don I'm bett'en your better at welding than you pretend. ;)

Mike how are things across the pond? I don't get to post much on tractors these days because mine is only used for snow clearing but I did add a new IPhone holder to it the other day and although the beast wasn't up for an oil change or a fuel filter change I had the stuff here to do it so I took it in a put on a new fuel filter. Actually the complete filter unit. The dealer I got the tractor from gave it to me which was very nice of them and I changed the oil.

If ya wanna get something done, give it to a busy man ..... ;) :D

There's some truth to that. I get more done when I'm flat out than when I'm slow. When I get in one of my slow moods I'm slower than a government committee trying to make a decision

What, no charging station setup? I noticed the tractor is nicely waxed. What do you use on your tires? I am not crazy about Armourall. Thanks for posting- always something fun to look at.

:eek: My apologies Don / Paul, yes it was Paul I was referring to.

Things are good here in the valley, great year for apples, even with some farmers experiencing damage from Earl.

I finally got a chance to get to Newfoundland last year, we visited with the family of a member we lost when Cormorant 914 crashed off Canso a few years ago during a night training exercise. A beatiful part of the world!
