Is a 1967 Ford 2000 metric?

Not so.
The US tractors - at least through the Thousand Series - had engines built in the US.
They also built the same engines in Basildon for the EU market.
Later tractors, maybe starting with the 3600s or 10 Series all had engines built in Basildon.
They were all SAE bolts and nuts.

I'm not aware that any Ford tractor engines built 1965 and after were manufactured anywhere in the world other than Basildon, England. I welcome the opportunity to be educated on this topic.

Rick, I thought they were built in Romeo.

11 STUD Screw, Thumb, M8 x 16, Years: 01-JAN-65-31-MAR-68, Serial Range: Grille-Shell-Thumb 412575 $19.88 3 in stock

Originally that was an SAE fastener, but since Fiat took over, some sheet metal fasteners have been substituted with metric fasteners where they will work to eliminate duplication of parts. When used in spring/clip nuts as this is, the thread isn't going to matter.
If you go aftermarket, A- D4NN8B151A are about $7.00 each.
