Breaking door glass isn't a brand problem, it's an operator problem. Drive around with the door open and sooner or later you'll be buying door glass. Paint color and the name on the hood don't matter.
The vast majority of tractor cab doors are frameless and have been for a long time. Saves buying glass AND a frame when disaster strikes. They are curved for strength and noise reduction.

A big kicker for me was its recently redesigned engine that inherently meets the EPA requirements without the need of an add-on filter/regen thing that adds complication to every startup and shut-down, and is an expensive replacement every few years.

You drank the kool-aid on that one. They run the engine super hot all the time for the DOC, which puts higher thermal loads on the whole system. It's like a continuous regen procedure. They did a great job spinning that to seem like a marketing advantage, but it's a mixed bag.

Exactly. That's why I don't have a cab, although it would be nice for winter plowing.

I have a Max 26. Very happy with both the tractor and dealer support. I would have no trouble selling my tractor to anyone based on its past performance and workmanship.
The Max 26 and above have minimal troubles. The smaller ones seem to have some bugs. Each series is built in a different location by a different company.. My engine was built by Mitsubishi. Tractor frame Japan. Assembled in USA. Mower deck built in USA. Know your products. Know your competition. Be honest with your customers and sleep well at night knowing you are selling good products.

I can help myself and my "personality" alters given the situation.
I just can't stand when you get on your know it all high horse and cast disparaging and unfounded remarks to inflame or provoke the situation.
People go through enough trouble here w/o you you adding to it.

He deserves it and it's not "personal" in the least. People here should "add" a helping hand here and not "add" to the problem with innuendo and inaccuracies.
I will call that person out every time. This gentleman has a preponderance of such posts.
You simply do not know him with you being new here.

I don't care what people think. If they consider me an a$$wipe so be it.
It is more important to me for correcting habitually wrong info for all the new people here getting into tractoring, than what people consider me as.
If they listened to some of the info frought with inaccuracies by the likes of this "fried guy", they would never push anything with their machines because tractors were made for pulling.
They would never "dig" anything with their fels because "never dig w your fel because you can tweak it"
Or they think all Mahindra parts are coming from India as opposed to Houston tex.

Now if these "edicts" were couched in more personal terms I'd have no problem such as "I don't like to dig w my fel because I fear tweaking it" or I don't push things with my fel because I feel tractors were made for pulling....that's different.
But to come out with stuff passed over as "the gospel of tractoring" is just plain wrong and sets a bad example for folks who do not have a large knowledge base and are on a learning curve about this stuff.
