I am very interested....Dont take this the wrong way, I'm more then happy to buy one from you, BUT...If you dont feel like making them all yourself, why dont you just describe/explain/list sources for the parts and we can all build them ourselves using your "instruction manual"...

I plan to make one or two, and list the instructions for everyone to build. I spent 10 more minutes on it tonight, and I think its a lot more simple than the crazy stuff I went through to get it working on mine. I plan to undo everything i did prior, and try to jumper the switch so there is minimal material and places to take apart.

Its not that bad during the summer because by the time its dark enough to warrant lighting, the tractor is usually parked and so is my rear end. Now that it gets dark at 4:00 here...lights are constantly used...especially with the white stuff on the way.

Definitely understand

I have a 3320 that I installed the JD rear work light kit on. It would only work when you had the headlights on. On the right side fender, there is a bank of 4 slots for switches. Only one was being used (cruise control). I contacted the parts department at JD and explained I wanted to be able to turn the rear work light out when I didn't need it (aftermarket lights at least come with a toggle switch mounted on the back of the light). They found me a factory light switch that fits the slots. All I had to do was unplug the hot side of the harness plug behind the seat for the rear work light and run the switch wires in series. Now I can turn the rear light off when the front lights are on. I also purchased another switch to turn the overhead light bar on/off that is mounted to the rops (loader blocks the front lights when plowing snow or mowing). Everything looks factory installed.

D0es the service manual have a detail of the colors on the wires by the switch? I need some info before I start jumpering:D

I am sure the service manual has a wire schematic in it. All I have is the owners manual and it doesn't show anything. When i ordered the rear worklight kit for my 3320, it came with instructions as to where to find the wire ends and which ones to use. Behind the seat of my JD there are several pairs of wires which have electrical bullet ends on them which are capped off.

I have the wire schematic now. There will have to be 2 jumpers if my head is thinking clearly. But, I hope to get out and take some pics and verify my connector work soon. I have a nasty sinus infection...
