As were pretty much all non-specialty American autos of that era.Overall a crappy vehicle with weak front suspension. I had one years ago 'Maverick Grabber' and had to rebuild the front suspension at less than 30K miles as the front ball joints were shot as well as the 'A' arm bushings. Ford's 'better idea' was plastic insert joints and hard plastic bushings with no Alemite fittings. Car was a turd.
Don't go bringing up your Ford Pantera or one-year production of the Superbird... those were the exceptional "specialty" cars.
