Is there help loading at Ritchie Bros?

I've never been to an RB auction before. There is one coming up that has some skid loader type attachments I'm interested in, particularly a grapple. I've emailed them -- but haven't heard back yet -- regarding loading.

Is there a worker with a skid loader that will load up items into a pickup bed or trailer? I sure can't lift 600 lbs. Is this a free loading service, is it a fee, is it unavailable?

I used to haul out of RB quite alot , they used to have guys on Forklifts to load nonpowered equipment. thats been 10 years ago but I doubt its changed. Call the Gals at the auction site, they are always willing to help.

The company i work for bought an old loader for parts, and RB had a front end loader that they pulled the parts loader over and pushed it on our low boy for us, and held it there for us to get a chain on it ot hold it in place.

Ritchie Bros. is very accommodating as far as getting your item loaded and off their site. They usually have several workers with loaders doing the job.

When checking in, tell them your lot number(s) and that you'll need help loading. They will put you on the list for the next available loader. And it is free.

RB is a gigantic operation and has to have forklifts available to help customers load up. Even the small size auction places here in the North Sacramento Valley (e.g. Ramey Auctions) provide this service to their customers. They'd be silly not to.
