Is This A Good Price For A New Flex Wing

The other day I had a customer come by and was looking at some of my stock units of rotary cutters, and said he was really wanting a 15Ft unit, so I gave the customer a price but I think I over quoted on it. I would like to learn what other similar units are retailing for.

I went back to the drawing board and now I want to offer the McCormick 1500 series flex wing rotary cutter at a different price.

Let me know if this is a good price.

we bought a 12' woods bat wing a couple years ago and we paid around 9000 dollars ,i have seen them sell for around 12000 for 15 footers . It really cuts down the overtime hours .

Yes, that is a good price. Around here a 15' sells for ~ $15,000. Even a single wing 12 footer sells for $12,000. Basically about $1,000/ft, but they are newer style mowers.

The thing I dislike about your McCormick is the strongbacks welded to the top hold pools of water and the paint would be pretty well shot after 4-5 years outside. Newer models have flat skin top decks that shed water. Looks like on old-tech mower, but at a very good price. Ideal for someone who can shed their mower.
