Well as long as you are feeling better. But the welds on the"new" loader are rough as a cob too,and sounds like you know that,so..Guess its the best they can do??!!

I'd bet 50 dollars[at least] that that did not come from japan.

That probably come from some fab shop in the usa, using a very poor quality control system[and very untalented welders, well, wire burners].

Or maybe mexico??

Some bussiness don't relize you can catch more bees with honey than manure. They shouldn't be in bussiness. Better bussiness, attorney general of your state, are two places that might at least put their names on a list.

But,like I said, the dealer did not make those two loaders, they coulda put out more honey, but kubota made both, with unacceptable welds. And to let one get by is one thing, but give the man the second one, which was basicly same,is another. Don't reckon they are testing your knowledge of what a good weld looks like?,Naw,just like I said, thats what they produce, heck, maybe that was one of their best ones??

Did you check if the tractor that 'inherited' your scratched up tire also got your old loader? I wouldn't doubt it.

No, the old loader was sitting in the shop when I left. I don't know what the plans for it are. In my opinion it should be sent back to the plant for training purposes, evaluated for rework, and then repaired if possible. At the least, they can take the cylinders and hardware off and use to build another loader and then scrap the booms and bucket. I really hope it doesn't go on another tractor.

If the only thing defective about the old one was those welds,I could have it looking like the prettiest loader that ever came out of that shop in a few hours.[well, maybe a couple few hours!][if they sandblasted it before I started and primed and painted it after I was done, that is].

No need sending it back for training porposes,I saw the last one they gave you. Alls they gotta do is look at the ones they are working on now.

Bandman, As others have said I think you have handled yourself admirably during this whole process, thruthfully you have the paitence of a saint. If it was me some heads would have been rolling and I would have ended up being rolled to jail most likely. I have been w/ you 100%. I am new to this tractor stuff but I spent a lot of my hard earned dollars on this equipment and try to keep it looking as new as possible, and this goes w/ anything I buy. For people to not understand that the h--- w/ them. I do think they are better welds than your first loader but still comparing them to mine (as my pictures showed earlier in this post) still dont look up to par, but again I am no professional. I find it ironic and sad that your dealer wouldnt even put his sticker on it. I am fortunate to have a wonderful dealer and I have at least 3 of his stickers on my loader alone. I cant beleive this dealer would even deliver a MMM that looked like that, unfreaken beleivable. Best of luck in finding a new dealer!!!

There was probably a dozen or so, or more I haven't counted that posted your making a big deal over this, It's only fair for one of those people to get your defective loader.
But in all fairness I know to some it really wasn't a big deal to them, and that's OK. It's just too bad they didn't see your point also.

If this was on our lot, you would have gotten a new loader right away without question... then your sloppy one would have just been sold to a customer at cost. Most people would be thrilled to take that for a small discount on the price.

Bandaman, glad you got everything resolved and it worked out for you. I am sure there has been a valuble lesson here, and likely more than one. I wish you the best with your new rig!

This sounds like a resonable way to handle the situation. It also sounds like a quick resolution.

Yeah, thats what I was talking about,[them bees and honey verses bees and manure],

All boils down to same thing, trying to make customer happy. If a bussiness makes their customers happy, they make more money, its simple.Thats the way a smart man operates[verses the dealer who he has been dealing with].
