How many hours you got magnatic?
I posted that last spring at 332 hours. I ended up having the dealer change the seal and going with thicker oil. Then this year, the other side went. The dealer changed it and determined that the steering stops were set incorrectly (or was there a service bulletin about it? - I forget now), placing too much pressure on certain front end parts when when turned to the limit. They said the seals may have given up for that reason. I'm not sure it their story was factual, but both seals have been replaced now.

I noticed this leak on my BX2350. Then I did a search on the forum and found that others have experienced a front axle leak as well. Is it often in the same place?
I noticed that some indicated that switching to 80W gear oil may stop the leak, but I'd still prefer to change the seal and then switch the oil if that's what is recommended.

Yes, very common on the BX..IN fact I just did my Bx24 2-weeks ago. Easy to fix (about 15-20 minutes each side). The seals are like $26 each and I put (again) Amsoil's best gear fluid ($70 for 5 qts)...I had the Snap-on snap-ring pliers and seal puller so it was easy.

You would think Bota would fix this issue...I have 263 hours on mine.

I install amsoil gear fluid at 50 hours and this time it looked like crap.

Just bought the seals for mine. The tractor has 900 hours on it. Part # for seals are
04811-50850 2 o-ring (not needed according to SW03)
6A320-56220 2 seal
K2581-15450 2 o-ring frnt axl

SW03 said I would not need one the first orings, but I had already ordered them.

Has any one replaced the wheel bearing axle seal?

I replaced the turning seal but still ending with a puddle under the wheel after it sits awhile I am running 80-90 wt lube.

I took it apart and don't see how to get the bevel gear off to get to the seal bearings seem ok, and RTV looked ok when I pried it apart the 2nd time to look at the wheel bearing

You should not need the o-rings since the complete housing and bevel gear just slip off if you tap it with a dead blow hammer (very easy to come apart). If you try and pry off with screw driver, you will kill the o-rings. Once off ,you will see the snap-ring in the window on the housing (above gear).

Wondering, why are you replacing the "K2581-15450" too? If you have the common BX leak, just need the $26 seal per side. Do not take apart the male housing on the tractor. You will make it way harder and most items to replace.

I would also put a jack under the housing with putting all back together. It is hard to install the snap ring while holding the housing. It is a very simple job with a jack. I learned the hard way when the housing slipped into 5 qts of old gear fluid...
