NAPA sell "Chain Lube" stuff is weather proof and slick. I use that a lot to spray areas without a grease fitting. Pricey but works for me. I spray the slip coupling on PTO shafts and wipe the excess of to keep my hands half way clean when installing the shaft to the PTO on the tractor.
