2013 John Deere 3320 Cab
I went by the dealers lot today and seen it setting there all shiny.....I called my dealer and he said it came in with the wrong R4 tires because John Deere said they are behind on making the R4's that I wanted and it would be a month wait to get the correct ones.....so I can either settle for the ones that are on it or he can order them and I wait a month..........I think this sounds like bs and it sounds more like the dealer ordered the wrong tires from the start.. ...What should I do guys....?....:confused3:

Yes, sounds like typical dealer BS. Tell him you will take the tractor as is if next month he will install the tires you ordered. If he doesn't agree then tell him no deal.

I really cant tell what the difference is in the two R4's anyway......one has a curved tread and the other type (what my 2320 had) has a more block tread.....

well in that case I would just settle with the tires it arrived with then. that's just me though.

My tractor has the R4 block type tread and they do the job. Dunno if the curved type is better or not. :confused3:

Don't know which ones you actually ordered, but there is a size difference, a price difference and a rating difference. If you got the more expensive, by mistake, it might be worth accepting. Others have posted they think the larger tires make the tractor look better.

25x8.50-14 6PR Front R4 Ind 2 Pos.
15-19.5 6PR Rear R4 Ind. 2 Pos. $230.00

27x8.5-15 6PR Front R4 Ind. 2 Pos.
43x16-20 4PR Rear R4 Ind. 2 Pos. $410.00

Tell the dealer that you will except the tractor for $100 off for the wrong tires.... you might get it, worth a try.

For the small difference in price, I would be more concerned about the performance. You may have gotten more that what was quoted, but you will have those tires for many years, and how the tractor engages the ground is very important. I would talk to the dealer about performance. It could be those tires may even be better for your uses. Good luck. Sweet tractor!

if a dealer actually knows anything about the products that they are selling, I guarantee that tire tread and performance is not one of them. A dealer isn't going to steer them another direction especially if its already setup. So seriously dude that's a complete waste of time and like talking to a wall. The only person that could accurately answer that question is someone that has owned the exact tire design and then switched to another for comparison on the same tractor. Im sure he will be just fine.

Hiya,

I believe the tallest tire on cab versions is the R3 turf. The manual ( OMLVU17926_J7 ) lists:
Height From Ground (Tractor with Cab, R3 tires)

To Top of Cab 2.3 m (89.4 in.)

Stopped by the dealer today and he said John deere called and said they forgot to ship the manual lift without the $1200 auto connect..... I didn't order the auto connect because I was going to add it later and just use the manual lift for now..... Anyway john deere didn't ship the lift parts so they went ahead and shipped the autoconnect for free...... Sweeeeet......

:cool2: The dealer said as soon as the auto connect hardware comes in then they will install the mid pto, pto lever kit, rear wiper, rear work lights, JD cd player and the belly mower by the next day. He's saying I should take delivery the middle of this coming week.
