Another old timer YanDeere

I think that one is an original from a place in Washington that imported and refurbed clean Yanmars from Japan, around 2000~2005. He painted them green and asked top dollar for them. A quality operation as I recall, just unusual.

Does your source for that photo match my hypothesis?

This one came from a family farm out west. It was in their farm blog having to sell it with the Allied FEL. They had since upgraded to a bigger tractor.

Over in the eastern EU countries, many people paint their Yanmars in JD green just because. Here's an impressive task for a compact; logging and stacking.

This YM1510 is a little grainy from the website I had found in the eastern EU. Add a ROPs and larger indicator safety lights and it would fool some into thinking this was a JD.

Another YanDeere I must say, this person went the extra distance to make the entire front grill area non-Yanmar and more JD-like. Nice work. However, you can still see the Yanmar eyes shine thru. Hard to determine if it was a YM1300 or YM1500 in the enlarged grainy image.

And that my friend is why this thread is called YanDeere. These are one-of-a-kind machines. Not OE. Some just down right neat to see. That Yanmar Diesel JD Honda bike is AMAZING.

If you look it up normally, this will come out in JD1520. 1968-1972, 51 horsepower.

Taking my avatar image and making it into a YanDeere

😵

It looks more like a Tree Frog.

I once had a JD850. It's basically a YM2500 painted JD green. My Ym2610 is just an upgrade to power-shift. So, here are the two together ... Both were Fredricks' UTDA restored.
