Also, after doing the tire change, I have vowed that I will never again liquid fill tires. What a freakin' mess! I did it with a Harbor Freight changer for the experience, but I'd be a lot less sore if I'd had it done with a real tire machine.

Tire review after a few weeks: They do better out on the wooded hillsides than anything else I've tried. Think loose rocks on soft soil under a thick layer of dead leaves, going up slopes that challenge the wheel motors and sometimes win. They leave more visible tracks on the lawn than any other tires I've tried, likely because of the sharply squared-off shoulders, and they definitely tear up the ground in the woods.

They also ride like a freakin' buckboard. They are 4 ply, but they are stiffer than some 6 plies I've had, and the spacing of the lugs is wide enough that I sometimes feel each lug jolting me a little. I'm OK with the rough ride, because they have been getting me up to some really good dead firewood trees. When mowing season comes around again, I'll use another set of wheels with turf tires and a softer ride.

For those with larger budgets, I would bet that the Firestones would be even better at climbing my slopes, but for the money I like these. It will be interesting to see how they wear and how the traction changes as the corners and edges wear down.

I am running a 8 ply tire on my 2425 . I have set the tire pressure at 15 pounds and it works well. Havent had any flats with the 8 ply tires like i have had with the 4ply working in the woods all the time. The only problem i have is knocking the valve stems off on occasions. with the 8 ply on if i lose a valve stem, ( which i still do on occasion) the tire looks like it is just low on air and i can drive still drive out to get the tire swapped out untill iget the valve stem replaced.

I think a 2425 is quite different from my somewhat modified 435. But I have had tires stiff enough to drive on for a bit. These may be stiff enough for that.

Tire update: we had a couple inches of snow. Plowing snow straight ahead on the driveway, these tires did not slip on the asphalt when the pile of snow in front got pretty big. I'd say they did somewhat better than the All Trails, although it wasn't much of a test. They definitely have more traction in dirt, and they leave very visible tracks on soft or wet soil.
