You'll love it! I love mine! Everybody harps on the 1/4 valve but it works fine, once your use to it you will have no problems and if your like me it's the only difference between the 7800 and 3030, not including the "creature" comforts and a 1/4 valve was NOT worth the extra 4k I'd have to pay for the upgrade, at least not in my book, that was over half the price of my BH!!!

Then you were seriously getting ripped off in your quotes. I did find that some dealers did not really want to sell the B3030 and were really pushing the B7800, but in talking to quite a few dealers in 4 different states, the price difference between the 2 was consistently $1800.

If I had found a difference of $4k, then I would also be the proud owner of a B7800, as I was very impressed with the one I rented last fall. As I said in a previous post, before getting the position control, I too thought the 1/4 inching valve was perfectly fine for my use, and would have been happy as a clam with it after the lousy 3pt control on my subcompact. Just don't ever try PC unless you are seriously looking at a new machine, because once you get a couple hours on it under your belt, you won't want anything less.

You've obviously never shopped in Canada for ANY kind of vehicle then!


This is the land of $12,000.00 more for Accords and Camry's than our American cousins and $5000.00 more for sea-doos and ski-doos! And those things ARE MADE HERE IN CANADA TO BEGIN WITH!!!!! With the dollar at par for the last year American dealers have been BANNED from selling to Canadians to protect the local markets on threats of losing their franchises. C'mon up and buy something, it's not only our gas we get gouged on!

I have a B7800 which I have been very happy with but I did wonder if 3 cylinders would have been better then 4 so your review was well received
