Got my first flat tire today on my new 29 hr. old tractor. Right rear tire. I 've looked in manual but can find no reference about jack placement to lift tractor for wheel/tire removal. I 'll be using a floor jack and what ever else may be recommended here. Where should I place the jack to not damage tractor ?

I just had to jack up my BX1860 to remove a rear tire.

1. I was in my shop, with cement floor and level.
2. Used One ton floor jack
3. Jacked using the drop hitch, under the 3 point hitch. It was flat, iron and seemed, hands down, the best place to jack.

The BX only took two or three pumps on the jack and the rear wheels were clear. That is what I did. Your mileage may vary.

Ok, maybe a photo will help. I won't recreate the jacking, but notice in this photo, a 2" ball mount on the rear of my BX?

I placed the floor jack under that. You may or may not have a ball in your drop hitch, but nonetheless. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately I don 't have a drop hitch. Got a draw bar instead which is pretty different. Thanks for response and picture.

Asking a dealer is always a smart move. There are other threads here too. Just use the search feature above. Best Wishes
