JD 1010 RS Fluids

I was just given a JD 1010 tractor and I do not know where to check the different fluids besides oil and water. Also what kinds of fluids are needed? Thanks for the help.

JD Hy-Gard for hyd fluid. Check it at a plug by right heel when sitting in seat and final drives on each side.

Thanks TX Jim. Now where do I fill in from? There is a breather cap under the seat is that the place? Also any other fluids that I need to know about? Also you mentioned final drives does that take the same fluid and if so where does it fill from. Sorry about asking all these questions, I am new to the JD 1010. Again, thanks.

One fills the trans at the check plug by right heel. Fill it to full(level in hole). On the final drives,there are fill/drain plugs(parts key # 31) on each flat plate on each side.

WOW, you really know tractors, thanks so much. Last question, what is the breather cap under the seat for? You can pull it off and look down into the hole. The cap looks like the breather cap that is on the air intake oil bath tube.

I asked my local JD dealer and they did not know or let me say it another way, it is a old tractor and they only know the new ones.
