JD 110 random spark

Here is what I found as far as resistance testing . Primary 2/3 ohms , wire from coil and other lead to ground . Secondary 8k/10k ohms spark plug lead and ground . They say you need good analog meter , digital not sensitive enough . Are you sure the PTO safety switch is not a problem . Hook those 2 wires together to bypass temporarily . You can switch this out to an external coil . Hope this helps , Kevin .
