JD 2305 Loader Leveling help

Hi,

A friend of mine has a new JD 2305 and his salesman did a poor job of explaining how to read/use his loader level indicator. I'm not familiar with how it looks or works either. If someone would post some brief instructions with pics that would be greatly appreciated.

I took the one off of my tractor (Not that same model though). Just tell him that the top of the bucket is on the same plane as the cutting edge, so by looking at the top you always now whats going on. By to answer your exact question, I believe you have top paint or otherwise make marks on the rod.

On my 2305, a rod with a bend in it passes through an eye. When the bend in the rod is in the eye, your bucket is level. This of course, is only true if your bucket is on the ground, and your tractor is on level ground.

I agree with Kenny, and it doesn't take long to learn how much to curl the bucket when you are in float.

my 3720 has an angled rod that goes through a loop. when the fixed loop meets the apex of the rod, the bucket is level.

you can adjust the rod when you put a different attachments on also. I have to adjust the rod when I put on my pallet forks
