Hello all,

Does anyone have the mid mount 54" mower with the hydraulic lift included with their 2305? If so, have you been having any problems?

Thanks,
raykos

I have the 54MMM with hydraulic lift and have had no problems if you discount the fact the hydraulic lift bleeds off very quickly. There are several posts alluding to this phenomenon on the 2305.

My 54" deck cuts just fine and I haven't seen a bit of bleed off. I've left the ballast box on the 3pth, raised, for more than an hour with the machine turned off and still it didn't bleed down.

Raykos, what's the problem you're seeing?

Thanks for the responses. Don't know if this is relevant to our MMM, but at the John Deere site->Residential->Services&Support->AnswerCenter->page 3->question 44, John Deere says this "settling to the ground", may be normal. However, the problem I'm wondering about is the routing of the hydraulic hose; if I don't tie mine up to the deck, it will fall and get caught between the frame and rear tire.
Since I'm a newbie to this forum, I've tried the "Search Forums For" box at the top of the page, but I can't seem to find any other posts related to the 2305 and the MMM, any suggestions on how to do this?

Thanks,
raykos
