I agree, and that may be the final product if the factory unit and tractor combo don't perform. I love the pics, what a reference to work from. Thanks!

Here is your solution. 7 sec cycle time and the tractor never ever feels the load. I really think it burns less than a 5 hp Briggs. I run it at 1700RPM but no load is on the engine.

It started out as a Speeco 3pt splitter but I chucked the stand (who needs that I don't know) and had the frame and tank built with a receiver.Tank is 21gal but since found out 10gal is more than enough to keep temps in check. The pump came direct from prince and is 21GPM. Nice thing here is no second stage. It always rips right through. Even the fastest commercial ones usually have a second stage and over hours of splitting that eats into productivity. So a splitter with a 15ec cycle time is really slower than that if it needs to get into the second stage very often. On the tractor you have versatility to adjust height and if you want vertical its easy to raise it up turn the beam and set down. The trailer type seem to never have flat enough ground without taking a shovel and digging a hole. Other thing is no little engine screaming in your ear the whole time. I used to run this on a Allis CA and it was very quiet. The Deere ain't too bad. This thing is so fast I would put it up against the SuperSplit in a head to head race. And I will always get through the hard ones. Not cheap though
500.00 for original Speeco purchase
500.00 for fab work on frame and tank
400.00 for pump
approx 250.00 for hose and fittings.

Oh yeh....17,000 for tractor to run it onLOLOLOLOL

That thing is a work of art! I may have to start fabbing on something like that soon!
