JD 2520 Exercise - Best use of Logs?

A couple weeks ago, we had a nice day to get outside and do some clean up. The 2520 got some FEL exercise . So, I am wondering opinions as the to best use (other than firewood) of logs this size?

If you have enough--maybe a local mill would saw them for you and you could build something with the lumber?

Well the one that comes to mind for me is if you have a chainsaw to make some timbers from it with this

Well it looks like pine to me. Most pine has a lot of tar in it. And these logs have lots of knots. So the lumber would be of little value.

As far as firewood goes, I wouldn't burn pine in my wood stove. Too much creosote (sp?) which means more chimney cleanings and more chance of a chimney fire. But then again, I have lots of hardwoods.

Put a note in Craigslist asking for someone with a portable sawmill to saw up the lumber for a share (maybe split the lumber into two piles and take one.)
Then sell the boards you don't want. Take a look at what they are getting for knotty pine boards at Home Depot stores now- $6 for a warped 1X6
