I must agree that I like the two-seat arrangement for the model 46 backhoe. At first, I thought a single swivel-seat sounded like a good idea, but only if it worked like it does on the big machines, i.e., where you stay in the seat and just swivel when you need to drive.
However, with CUT's, there isn't room to do this, so you still have to get up, swivel the seat, move around to the operator station to reposition and then reverse when you want to use the hoe again.
To my mind, it's easier to just get up, step on the rear tire and swing around into the operator's seat to move the machine. This is easier for me, because I'm short and both my seats can be in the "down" position all the time.
